First 'Fro Mow

When Rich's hair gets long it gets really puffy and his sideburns get all curly and afro-ish. So, whenever he needs a haircut I'll say to him, "You need a 'fro mow." Now, I just call all haircuts 'fro mows. Juliet's hair has been getting longer these days--but mostly her mohawk. It finally started reaching down to her eyes and I decided she needed a 'fro mow, or, in the case of her mohawk, a mo 'fro mow. Here's the before and after:
She also has 2 chompers now. And there are several more ready to bust out. Our babe is growing fast.

Flippin' Bored

Spring Break is here and yesterday it greeted us with pouring rain. Ryan was itching to get out and so I finally let him and Macie run around outside in the rain and play with snails. They were pretty excited to use their Darth Vader and pink puppy dog umbrellas. I'm kind of ready to put these umbrellas away. Who else is ready for sunshine??!!

Pins and Needles

I know you guys have just been dying to see the chairs:) We've finished 2. It's a lot of work people!! It takes us 2 hours per chair. We have to line the fabric up perfectly, Rich pulls the fabric really tight, I staple, Rich hammers in my halfway-in staples, we do that process again for the vinyl layer, I trim the excess fabric and then Rich puts the chair back together. My arms and Rich's lower back can only handle covering one chair per night so I'll show you the whole set in another 4 days:).

A Green Nose for Mama

About a month ago Juliet started saying "mama". I was surprised because she hadn't said dada yet and most babies say that first. But then I realized that she probably hears the word mommy about 500 times a day, so, of course mama would be her first word:). To Rich's relief (and after much practice) she started saying dada about 2 weeks later. Watch what happened while I was trying to catch her talking skills on camera.
