I was scrolling through the camera yesterday and realized how many pictures we have of our silly Juliet. So, I thought it was high time for a Juliet update.
We had been concerned about Juliet's slowish language development at 18 months and we took away the pacie. Within 6 months she went from just a few words to over 100 (we actually counted at dinnertime the other night). And she's also saying lots of 3 word phrases like "What the heck?". She speaks some Julietese, which only we can understand. Our favorites are Iet (Juliet), kakookie (cookie/cracker/popcorn), biss (kiss), Yiyan (Ryan), Baba (Bailey), nook (milk), feafast (breakfast), and nummy (money), yaya-o (E-I-E-I-O), watu (water), ceecee (Casey).
Juliet is still teeny. Like in the 1 percentile. She's probably less than 1% but they can't say zero since there's always someone smaller:) We also just found out that she's mildly anemic so now she eats lots of high iron foods.
Juliet loves to dress and undress herself, but mostly undress herself. Sometimes it drives us bananas when we get her dressed for church only to find her a minute later completely naked. She also likes to get into our fridge and pantry (hence the floury hands above). If only she'd reach for the high fat, high iron foods, we wouldn't have a problem. But, she inhales all berries and tomatoes she can find. We've also been finding her standing on the stove lately. Ay yay yay.

Like I said, Juliet loves tomatoes. She eats them like candy. Last night after dinner we looked over to find this. Thank goodness the bottle was almost empty.
Here's some other random stuff about her that I'd like to remember:
Juliet still sleeps in her crib. She's lasted there the longest of all our kids. She can climb out but rarely does. I guess I'm ok with her staying there for a while longer.
She shows the most interest in potty training. She practices a lot on the potty, dislikes being poopy, and asks to be changed. Maybe she'll train a little earlier than our others.
She's starting to really play with Ryan and Macie. Yesterday they all played with playdough for 2 hours! It was a miracle.
