The other day we were driving to church and I saw this empty lot with a zillion yellow wildflowers. Today Ryan, Macie and I checked it out. We had a lot of fun--Ryan picked more flowers than he ever has in his whole life. And he loved watching the train go by not too far from where we were playing. Macie enjoyed just watching us and looking at the bright flowers. We'll definitely go back to this spot to see if I can get some better pictures--like maybe ones where Ryan doesn't have to squint so much. This place is such a rare find in the middle of Silicon Valley.

That is ridiculous, we just had a huge storm that dumped about 6 inches of snow, then it froze on top of that. I think I need to move to California.
